Mold is a town located in the county of Flintshire, in the northeastern corner of Wales in the United Kingdom. It lies close to the border with England, being only a few miles away from the city of Chester. It has a population of one-third of a million people and is situated on the River Alyn at the intersection of the A494 and A5112 roads.
