More About Invergarry

Invergarry is a small village located in the Scottish Highlands, just north of the city of Inverness. It is an area of natural beauty, with stunning mountainous landscapes and the picturesque Loch Ness at its heart. Despite its small size, Invergarry has established itself as a hotspot for business, technology, design, commerce, entrepreneurship and investment in the UK.

The village of Invergarry is surrounded by stunning views, with stunning lochs thrusting through the stunning mountain terrain. It is located in the historical Scottish Highlands, and has forever been associated with a romantic era past. It is a serene setting, ideal for a time away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. But it is in this rural, yet lovely, setting that an impressive range of businesses, technology, design, commerce, entrepreneurship and investment initiatives have grown and prospered.

Invergarry has a population of little more than 500, but the village has proven to be home to a wide range of organisations. From international tech companies to locally-run businesses, Invergarry is a hub for a variety of exciting and innovative projects. There are a number of entrepreneurial initiatives also set up in the area, from tech brokers to agricultural investors.

The largest employer in the village is CGI, the IT consultancy recently voted as one of the UK's best ICT training providers. A number of technology and media firms have also made their mark in the area, with companies such as Red Hat, ITV and Netflix establishing a presence in the area.

It is the smaller businesses, however, that really bring the village alive, such as the independent coffee shop, Kilcoyne's Cafe, and the popular Highland Home Bakery. These small businesses offer a unique charm to the area, enabling locals and visitors alike to sample some of the best produce and local specialities in the area.

In addition to the businesses already located in the Highlands, Invergarry has established itself as a hub for wider economic and investment initiatives. The village has become home to a number of venture funds, with a selection of local and international investors taking up positions in the area. This has allowed for the expansion of existing businesses and the establishment of new one, and recently companies like the Invergarry-based FinTech firm Wizzow have attracted significant investment to the region.

Invergarry is also home to a number of exciting design and innovation projects. Companies such as House of Creative, the makers of bespoke handcrafted furniture, are based in the village and offer bespoke, top quality products. A number of other design companies such as Plutospeed and Digital Shift have also made their homes in Invergarry, helping to bring some of the most progressive ideas in creative design to the highlands.

In addition, the village is home to a number of events and festivals throughout the year, such as the popular Invergarry Highland Games that take place every April. There are also a number of food festivals, such as the Loch Ness Food Festival and the annual Taste of Invergarry Festival in August. Not only do these events help to promote the area's rich cultural heritage, but they also help to promote the businesses, technology, design and commerce within the village.

Invergarry's prosperous economic prospects are not just restricted to the village itself; the surrounding area has become an important part of Scotland's entrepreneurial landscape. Within a 25-mile radius of Invergarry, significant investments have been made by big businesses such as Amazon, Google and Netflix, with their state-of-the-art floating data centre recently opening in nearby Applecross.

The Highlands are a vibrant, creative region and its true potential continues to be unearthed as more and more exciting projects and investments pour into the area. Business, technology, design, commerce, entrepreneurship and investment are all areas in which Invergarry is flourishing, and its rich history and stunning natural beauty make it a unique and highly desirable destination for businesses, investors and visitors alike.
